Another Birthday Card

There are a lot of birthdays around this time and I have been using it as an excuse to doodle for everyone.
Here's a card I made for my roommate featuring her dachshund, Tigger.
Oh, and Happy Easter! (No doodle for Easter...too tired.)

Edna Mode

Just a quick little sketch I did for my bro's Bday today.
He likes Edna, and he's kind of like her (lol). I suck for not thinking of a more interesting pose other than all my reference photos, but it's 4 am.

Miley

I may regret this later in life, but I really like Miley Cyrus. Just something about her I really like, maybe its her twang. Idk. Anyway she did a cover of Bob Dylan's 'Your Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go' and I am currently loving it.  So much so that it's been inspiring me to do sketches from her Ellen appearance earlier this month (see below). I really hope she holds it together and breaks the mold of crazy drugged up and drunken Disney child stars. I also hope she realizes that dance-pop is NOT her forte and that she should pursue a more country pop path. Ah well, time will only tell. For now here is a (very) quick sketch I did tonight on Ps.
Night Y'all.

Merry Christmas Bloggerland!

I'm so happy I made myself find time to make my very first original Xmas card this year!
I've been telling myself I would do it pretty much every year since I started art school and now that I am done I finally did it.

I've been thinking a lot about Sound of Music since last spring when I made my boyfriend sit down and watch the movie with me, because he had never seen it all the way through. Since we watched it I had intentions of drawing the goat puppets, but never got around to it. So I knocked out two birds with one stone on this one...

Wall-E luvs Eve-a

WAAAAAAAAALL-E!

Did this for my awesome boss, Anthony's birthday. His favorite movie is Wall-e so I decided it might be nice to draw him an original little doodle. It was fun and I pretty much just took this straight from my thumbnail.

Fred Moore Girl!!!

After months of waiting "Licorice" has finally arrived!
I had ordered her back in December for my boyfriend, George, and thought I had found him the perfect Christmas gift, but it turns out their release date got pushed back twice. I was beginning to think we might not ever get her, but she arrived today and she is adorable!
Photos and the prototype at Comic-Con last year did not do the final product justice. I took her out of her box and checked her out to make sure she was in good condition before I gave her to him today. I also snapped this quick shot with my iSight.

She is number 290/350. Can't wait until we have our own place to display her properly!

Year Book!

Every semester at Cartoon Network all the interns make a year book for the crews and give them out before they leave. So I decided for my page in the year book I would draw myself instead of just putting in a photo. I also wanted to include an element of the show I worked on so that's part of the Ben 10 logo behind me.

FINALS!

So I have been refraining from posting any animation from my film until I am done with this semester, but this is how I am going to be feeling for the next few weeks...

Post-it!

Yesterday I decided to start leaving some post-its on my desk at work. There are a lot of little doodles from past interns, but nothing from me yet and I've been here six weeks already! (Time is flying!)
Anyway, here's a little doodle of Noa from my FAVORITE comic in the world, Sky Doll...

I try to avoid drawing things that are already really well done since I know I am just going to butcher the original design, but this was fun.
